The A-Team is a Peace ministry working with organizations providing support and care for people living with HIV/AIDS and Educating ourselves and community about the realities of HIV/AIDS.
Active and Upcoming Service OpportunitiesWe are currently collecting art supplies for FACES. Please mark your donations for FACES Program and drop off to the welcome center. Fall 2010 – Art show featuring the work of FACES art therapy program. Details are in the works.
Active PartnershipsNationwide Children's Hospital FACES - Peace is developing a new partnership with FACES, Family AIDS Clinic and Education Services. We have provided over 100 Easter baskets for child who are infected or affected by HIV/AIDS. Through the VBS project, art supplies were collected for the FACES art therapy program. Plans are being made for a fall FACES art exhibit to raise awareness of HIV/AIDS in the Peace and surrounding community. FACES reminds us that HIV/AIDS does not have a regard for age, geography, social or economic status, or sexual orientation. Individuals, families, and communities are all impacted by HIV/AIDS. Project Open Hand - Another developing PEACE partner is an organization dedicated to meeting the nutritional needs of men, women and children living with HIV and AIDS in central Ohio. Over 80 families a month are blessed by Project Open Hand's 'meals on wheels' style delivery and food pantry.
