Mission Statement: The A-Team along with other Peace participants who took part in the 2011 AIDS WALK (at bicentennial park on October 8th) raised $2,395. Thank you! Active Partnerships: Nationwide Children's Hospital FACES - Peace continues a relationship with FACES, Family AIDS Clinic and Education Services. Peace provided over 100 Easter baskets for children who are infected or affected by HIV/AIDS. FACES reminds us that HIV/AIDS does not have a regard for age, geography, social or economic status, or sexual orientation. Individuals, families, and communities are all impacted by HIV/AIDS. Project Open Hand - Another developing PEACE partner is an organization dedicated to meeting the nutritional needs of men, women and children living with HIV and AIDS in central Ohio. Over 80 families a month are blessed by Project Open Hand's 'meals on wheels' style delivery and food pantry. Previous Service Opportunities: 2010- Provided Christmas gifts for 17 families through FACES
