The mission of Helping Hands is to be the caring hands of Jesus to provide medical care, counseling, social services and health education to those in need.
Located at Karl and Morse Road in the Haimerl Center, the clinic provides free services three evenings a month.
Peace invests in this partnership by providing volunteers, sending monthly financial help and having Peace members on their board. Helping Hands presently serves over 2,000 medical patients and 200 mental health patients yearly.
Many of those who have lost jobs and income in the recent economy have given up hope about getting health care and medications since they can afford neither. Helping Hands fills that need with the help of volunteer physicians, donated medical equipment and financial assistance along with permanent location to house the clinic. Your helping hands are needed to provide and even expand these services.
