New Member Process

How do I become a member of Peace?

The process involves attending an initial meeting and two additional bible studies; these meetings are offered in the fall and early spring. Next meeting dates: Sunday Mornings, January 30, February 6 and 13 from 10am -11am. Location: Fireside Lounge.

Do I have to be Lutheran to join Peace?

No, you do not have to be Lutheran. All faiths are welcome at Peace.

Does Peace belong to a particular denomination?

Yes, Peace belongs to the ELCA (Evangelical Lutheran Church in America)

Joining Old and Young

J.O.Y. (Joining Old and Young) is a unique ministry designed to share the joy that our children bring to our lives with the elderly in nursing homes. It gives people a chance to experience the laughter and love that come with little ones. It is our hope that we will share God's love with residents as the children brighten their day and that the children will enjoy positive experiences with older adults. J.O.Y. is a joint ministry between Peace Lutheran Church and Stonybrook United Methodist Church.
