How do I become a member of Peace?

Becoming a member consists of a two-meeting process. The first is an informational meeting that allows the pastors to communicate Peace’s vision, values, and ways to connect and serve at and through Peace. The second is an informal dinner where you will be able to meet Peace's staff and learn more about the various ministries. Classes are held three times a year (approximately January/February, April and August/September). The next new member class will be held on Sept. 6 & Sept. 13, at 6:30pm.

If you are interested in becoming a member, please review the new member forms linked below.  They include a New Membership Registration Form and a Personal  Resource and Special Interest Survey.  These forms can be completed and handed in at the first meeting.

Please know that you do not have to be a member to participate in any of the activities Peace has to offer.

Peace is the congregation that it is today because of countless people over generations that have been turned inside out by God’s Spirit and have heeded the call to be servants in the world.  Welcome to the journey!

Do I have to be Lutheran to join Peace?

No, you do not have to be Lutheran. Everyone who has a desire to know more about following Jesus is welcome here.

Does Peace belong to a particular denomination?

Yes, Peace belongs to the ELCA (Evangelical Lutheran Church in America).

How do I begin the process?

Contact New Member Coordinator,  Bonnie Lucas or 614-313-1089.
