Pet Blessing
Sunday, September 5th at the 10:00AM Outdoor Worship Service we will hold our annual Pet Blessing Service. Bring your pets as we celebrate God at work in all of creation.
We appreciate your pets being kept on a short, fixed-length leash
Outdoor Worship
Beginning Sunday, June 6th, and running through Labor Day weekend, the 10:00am worship servicewill be outdoors. Bring your lawn chairs and blankets to the space by the shelter house and playground and enjoy the beauty of God's creation as we gather in worship. It's a great time to invite friends to experience what Peace is all about. If it rains, we simply move into the ConneXions Center.
Friendship Ministry is a ministry to adults who are disabled. Two evenings a month and one Saturday a month volunteers create a worship time, enjoy arts and crafts, song, and share a meal with those who are disabled. This ministry is important in the lives of those it serves. Below is a breakdown of some of the ways you can get involved. For more information you may contact info@peacegahanna.org.
Friendship Bible Study:
On the first and third Thursday evenings of the month during the program year, persons from Peace get together with adults with cognitive disabilities for Bible learning, music, art, prayer and friendship.
When: First and Third Thursday evenings, September-May, 6:30-7:30 pm [beginning September 23, 2010]

Friendship Respite Ministry:
On the 1st Saturday of each month, from October through May, Peace offers a “day camp” respite ministry for persons age 14 and above with cognitive disabilities. Join us for Bible study, art, recreation, music, worship, food, friendship and plenty of smiles.

Camp Friendship:
Get away for a week at camp! During the 2nd full week in July, 25 adult campers with cognitive disabilities spend five days at camp participating in Bible learning, art, swimming, boating, fishing, archery, dancing, campfires and more. Come serve as a camp companion or adult leader.
