Marta Diehm was born and raised in Ohio and returned in 2013 for her position as Director of Student Ministries at Peace. During her formative college years, she united her gifts for leadership, love of theology, and passion for people into a career path. She is a 2009 graduate of Capital University with a B.A in Communication and Religion. She is a proud supporter of two influential ministries: Camp Luther, a Lutheran Outdoor Ministries in Ohio family camp, and the Young Adults in Global Mission program of the ELCA, for which she served a mission year in the United Kingdom.
Marta is an enthusiastic relationship-builder with a deep commitment towards helping students see and seek God at work in the joy and junk of their lives. A self-proclaimed pop culture junkie, Marta loves understanding God through film, music, television, internet media, and our society at large.
Apart from Peace, Marta is always up for a competitive board game night, a musical theatre outing, a dance aerobics class, or a chance to flex her pop culture trivial knowledge. She has lived on three different continents and in three different states, but is delighted to be back home in Ohio. Marta is honored to be working with and for 6th-12th students and their families at Peace!
