Tech Team Volunteering
There are several ways to serve on the A/V tech and production team at Peace:
- Sanctuary Soundboard: Serve at the Traditional worship service by running the sound system. This consists mostly of controlling the in-house loudness levels of the choir, pastors, and other amplified elements of the service. (This is not the sound that livestream viewers will hear, just for in-house audio.)
- Projection/Lyrics: Arrive with the band and singers for rehearsal, and review the morning's content (including videos, lyrics, etc.) Peace uses ProPresenter, which is similar to PowerPoint (with some advanced features).
- Camera: Use a joystick to control PTZ (Pan/Tilt/Zoom) cameras for the livestream. Partner with video switcher to choose when to change/switch camera angles.
- Video Switcher: Partner with the PTZ control volunteer to decide when to change camera angles and cue videos.

Contact John Huenemann, Communications Director at jhuenemann@peacegahanna.org. You'll be added to a volunteer scheduling tool online that allows you to set your own schedule and indicate which dates you're available to serve. Other volunteers and team leaders will always be around to help, so you won't be left to fend for yourself until you feel completely confident.
