Baptism
Baptism is one of two primary sacraments for the Lutheran Church (Holy Communion is the other). We believe Baptism is a means of grace; in other words, it is one of the significant ways God’s love is shown to us. Since Baptism connects us with God’s community, all Peace baptisms are conducted within a public worship gathering.

- God’s promise - Nothing will separate us from God’s love (Romans 8:37)
- God’s people - We are mysteriously connected with all who have gone before us, all who live with us, and all who will follow. (Hebrews 12:1)
- God’s possibility - The gift of God’s Holy Spirit energizes us for our daily lives and embraces us forever with this assurance, “You are a child of God, chosen and marked by my love, the pride of my life.” (Mark 1:11 The Message Bible)
