Serving at Peace
We always need volunteers to help serve at Peace. Volunteering is great way to get connected and meet new friends.
Sunday Communion Assistants Needed
Communion Assistants are needed for both the Traditional and Contemporary worship services. Communion Assistants serve as part of a group of volunteers who assist Pastors Doug and Tony with distribution of communion elements on Sunday mornings during worship.
Consider signing up for a Sunday you plan to attend worship. This is not a weekly commitment, you can choose which Sundays and worships fit best in your schedule. Training is available for first time volunteers or those who have served previously and would like a refresher.

Care Team Volunteers
Peace's Care Team is made up of individuals who volunteer their time to walk alongside members of our faith community and their families during times of illness (short or long term), crisis, grief, and other life transitions, or members who are homebound or hospitalized. They provide care and support through active listening, comfort, prayer, scripture, providing Holy Communion, and by sharing God’s love. Team members are caring, compassionate people who have been equipped to provide care and support to those who are hospitalized, in long term care facilities, rehab, or who are homebound.
A Care Team volunteer is someone who has a passion and heart to love and listen to others and has the time to commit to either a short-or long-term relationship (depending on the individual) with someone from our faith community. Team members are not alone as they support members in our faith community; they can receive guidance and support from Peace's pastors and from others on the Care Team.

There are several ways to serve on the A/V tech and production team at Peace:
- Sanctuary Soundboard: Serve at the Traditional worship service by running the sound system. This consists mostly of controlling the in-house loudness levels of the choir, pastors, and other amplified elements of the service. (This is not the sound that livestream viewers will hear, just for in-house audio.)
- Projection/Lyrics: Arrive with the band and singers for rehearsal, and review the morning's content (including videos, lyrics, etc.) Peace uses ProPresenter, which is similar to PowerPoint (with some advanced features).
- Camera: Use a joystick to control PTZ (Pan/Tilt/Zoom) cameras for the livestream. Partner with video switcher to choose when to change/switch camera angles.
- Video Switcher: Partner with the PTZ control volunteer to decide when to change camera angles and cue videos.
