First Communion Class
Sunday, November 16th at Noon | Peace Fellowship Hall
At Peace we believe that it’s up to each individual family to decide when their child is old enough to take the First Communion Classes. (Personally, Greta had one son take it as a 2nd grader and one son was a kindergartener.) If your child is asking questions about it, participating in worship and classes, seems interested in learning more about it, then your child might be ready! Remember, this is God’s table, not ours and all are welcome. Your child’s understanding of Communion will grow and change as they get older, just like their faith.
Any questions or wonder if your child is ready? Please make sure to reach out to Greta Clouse. RSVP using the Sign-up Genius link so we can plan accordingly. Each child must attend the class with an adult.

We are excited to once again kick-off another year of Sunday learning for our preschool to 5th grade friends! If you are new....welcome! If this isn't your first year, don't worry - this is the same "Sunday School" experience just with a name that better describes our time together. "Sunday Praise-n-Learn" will be held on Sunday mornings at 10:30am in our Sanctuary. There will be large group praise time followed by small group learning time, concluding at 11:30am. Parents will be able to worship at that same time in the ConneXions Center and can pick up their child(ren) at the conclusion of the service. Or, if you attend the 9am worship, have your kiddo join us after at 10:30am for Praise-n-Learn! This program is available for students in Preschool through 5th grade. The Nursery is available for children birth to 3 1/2 years of age. If you have any questions about our program, please make sure to reach out to Greta Clouse. Greta Clouse
Children’s Ministry Leader: [email protected] Greta is originally from Toledo, Ohio and first learned about Peace Lutheran as a camp counselor at Camp Luther, part of Lutheran Outdoor Ministries of Ohio. She attended Capital University, earning her degree in Early Childhood Education and began regularly attending Peace after graduation. She has since earned a Master's Degree in Educational Leadership from the University of Dayton and has earned her Administrator's License as well. Greta taught third grade at Reynoldsburg City Schools for seven years and then became an Instructional Coach. After being a stay-at-home mom, she is excited to now be working full-time at Peace for over 13 years! She and her husband Greg (a pharmacist), have been members at Peace for over 23 years and reside in Pataskala. They have been blessed with two boys: Griffin (16) and Grady (15). For her, working on the Children's Ministry Team has been a true blessing. It’s been a way for her to merge her talents and skills as a creative educator and leader, while working with children and families to spread the love of Christ to all. |

Natalie Wade
Preschool Leader: [email protected] Natalie grew up in Gahanna and has been a part of Peace since she was a baby! She recently graduated from Mount Vernon Nazarene University with a degree in Elementary Education and Intervention. Natalie is currently in her first year teaching preschool at Pickerington Early Learning Center, where she is already enjoying the joy and energy that comes with working with young children. She has always had a passion for helping kids learn and grow, and she feels especially blessed by the opportunity to share God’s love with the youngest minds at Peace. Outside of the classroom, Natalie enjoys reading, golfing (although still learning!), crafting, and spending time with family and friends. |

Kiley Aidt
Nursery Coordinator: [email protected] Kiley is originally from Bucyrus, Ohio, and moved to Blacklick in 2004 with her husband and high school sweetheart, Aaron. After a long search for a church home, they found Peace in 2014 and immediately felt welcomed by the pastors, staff, vibrant community, and opportunities to serve—especially through the children's ministry. Kiley holds a degree in Business Management from Ohio Dominican University and works as a manager in patient accounting at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. She and Aaron have been married for over 20 years and are proud parents to two daughters, Layla (13) and Nora (10). They also honor the memory of their son, Isaiah David, who was born still in 2011 and now rests with the Lord. Much of their time is joyfully spent supporting their daughters’ activities—marching band for Layla and soccer for Nora. As a family, they share a love of sports and often travel to attend games, especially to cheer on their favorite team, the St. Louis Cardinals. |
