Sunday Programming
Sunday Praise-n-Learn (Kid’s Worship) | 10:30am - Fellowship Hall
We are excited to once again kick-off another year of Sunday learning for our preschool to 5th grade friends! If you are new....welcome! If this isn't your first year, don't worry - this is the same "Sunday School" experience just with a name that better describes our time together. "Sunday Praise-n-Learn" will be held on Sunday mornings at 10:30am in our Peace Fellowship Hall space. There will be large group praise time followed by small group learning time, concluding at 11:30am. Kick-off will be on September 8th and meets most Sundays. Parents will be able to worship at that same time in the ConneXions Center and can pick up their child(ren) at the conclusion of the service. Or, if you attend the 9am worship, have your kiddo join us after at 10:30am for Praise-n-Learn! This program is available for students in Preschool through 5th grade. The Nursery is available for children birth to 3 1/2 years of age. About Greta Clouse, Children's Ministry Leader:
Greta is originally from Toledo, Ohio and attended Capital University, earning a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education with a reading endorsement. She has since gone on to receive her Master’s in Educational Leadership as well as her Principal’s License. After teaching in the Reynoldsburg City School District for 8 years, she stayed at home with her two children and then joined the Peace staff in 2012. She loves teaching and learning with families, while getting to share with them the awesomeness of God’s love. Greta’s husband, Greg and their two boys, Griffin and Grady, live in Pataskala and stay very active with Cub Scouts, Tae-kwan-do, sports, volunteer work, time with family and friends, and of course…cheering on the Buckeyes and Cleveland Browns! |
About Anna Purpero, Children's Ministry Assistant:
Anna Purpero is a former high school Language Arts teacher and founder of a teen mentoring nonprofit. She and her husband, Jordan, moved to Gahanna in August 2023 from southern Ohio and first attended Peace that October. They have loved meeting folks in the community, exploring metro parks, theater, and the food scene. Anna has spent the last few years at home (but trying to get out of the house!) with Copeland (5) and Theo (4). She is pursuing a certificate in Social Emotional Learning from Fresno Pacific University and writing a children’s book for a creative outlet! Anna can’t think of a better way to serve than to help kids discover the love and freedom of Jesus, but she’s more excited for all the wisdom she’ll learn from them along the way. |
