Camp Friendship
Camp Friendship is an annual summer experience (in the second full week of July) for adults with disabilities. Volunteers including camper companions, cooks and servers, and respite volunteers are needed at camp each year. Internship and community service hours are available for students who volunteer.
1) Become a Camper Companion: Pair with a camper for the week.
2) Volunteer to help serve meals: Having overnight campers means feeding our overnight campers! Help prepare and or serve the meals for our campers and companions. Help one day or more.
3) Serve as a Respite Volunteer: This is a great opportunity for individuals or families (ages 14 & up). Join us in Peace's Fellowship Hall to play games and do crafts with Campers, 6-8pm Tuesday-Thursday. Serve one, two or all three days! You'll have a blast!
