GRIN (Gahanna Residents In Need)
GRIN (Gahanna Residents in Need), located at 165 Granville Street, is a community-wide, faith-based organization committed to helping the residents of the Gahanna-Jefferson school district in a time of need. GRIN includes a Food Pantry, Free Clothing Store, assistance with utility/rent payments, the Summer Lunch Club, school supplies for students, and holiday assistance.
Peace’s involvement in GRIN has increased from volunteering once in a while to a more active involvement. Members can sign up online at the GRIN website through Sign Up Genius to help stock shelves, sort clothing, or help clients shop during the hours that they are open. Peace newsletters inform members of GRIN fundraisers and other events. Peace also makes a monthly monetary donation to GRIN to be used for financial aid to clients.
