Southeast Testament (SET)
Southeast Testament (SET) is a nonprofit community organization that has been helping residents in 23 counties in central and southeastern Ohio since 2005 thanks to the efforts of our faithful supporters.
Southeast Testament Inc is a small non-profit organization that is committed to be a good steward with the gifts you provide and will always be a blessing to others. All SET Officers and Directors serve on a volunteer basis so administrative costs are minimal which, allows for, 99% of our funding to go directly to helping our needy neighbors. SET’s ongoing needs include household appliances in good working order, used furniture in good condition and, of course, financial donations. Peace supports SET with monthly financial contributions. Volunteers are needed at Christmas to donate and distribute gifts and on a regular basis to pick up donations of furniture and household goods.
The SET building currently houses Sojourners Care Network, an asset-based youth development organization serving Appalachian Ohio. A nonprofit organization founded early in 1999, Sojourners fosters positive development opportunities for children and young adults living in the most distressed counties of Appalachia. The organization provides a variety of programs including: foster care, runaway and homeless youth services, employment training, diploma and GED support, mentoring, leadership training, supportive services, and service learning opportunities.

Financial Donations can be sent to Southeast Testament Inc. P.O Box 87, Blacklick, Ohio, 43004.
Because of the generous donations of good used items and financial support from the members of Peace, SET continues to be a working solution to so many of our neighbors in need in Vinton County.
