We all have a money story. It’s shaped by our families, our experiences, our fears, our successes, and the things we learned—sometimes without even realizing we were learning them. Over three weeks, we’ll explore what Scripture, faith, and our own stories have to say about money, generosity, scarcity, abundance, and what it means to have “enough.” This isn’t a class about budgets or financial advice. It’s a chance to take an honest look at our relationship with money and ask: How might God be inviting us into a different story?

We are excited to get started this fall on Monday, Sept 14th at 9:30am. We will be doing a study on the Psalms called God's Greatest Hits: A study on the Psalms
We come to the well with water jars, to have Jesus fill us with living water. Join us at 9:30am on Monday mornings as we bring our faith questions and thoughts to discuss and to dig into the Bible.
This morning study is lead by Pastor Bonnie Gerber who was ordained August 3, 1997. She served two congregations; Israel’s Lutheran Church in Paris, Ohio for four years, and All Saints Lutheran Church in Worthington, Ohio, for 22 years, the last 9 years as their Lead Pastor. Prior to her ordination, she was a high school math teacher in Versailles, Ohio. In retirement, she has enjoyed traveling and doing ministry where needed.

The Way of Wisdom: A Study of the Book pf Proverbs
In The Way of Wisdom, we will hear from six Bible teachers and walk with them through the book of Proverbs. The book of Proverbs describes wisdom as the greatest treasure of life, more valuable than anything else we should desire. But do we seek the wisdom of the Lord as fervently as we pursue other goals? Do we see Scripture as relevant for our lives, or do we doubt the wisdom found in the Bible is applicable to the situations we face at home, at work, and in our communities? In this study, we will consider wisdom principles on everyday topics like words, work, friendship, marriage, parenting, neighborliness, money management and more. We will discover the wisdom of Proverbs as an invitation to steadily walk God’s way in God’s world. Join us on Mondays beginning September 14th for this 8-week study in the Fireside Lounge from 6:30-8:30. We look forward to connecting with you!

If you are looking for an experience with people who love life, enjoy the moment and help you to see the world in a beautiful and different way then Friendship Ministry is for you. Through various monthly activities to a week-long residential camp in the summer, Friendship Ministries changes the lives of those it serves, as well as the lives of those who serve.

In September, we will be reading the book "A Perfect Mess" by Lisa Harper. It is a book based on selected Psalms to show how God sees us when He looks at us in those moments that we fall short. How God remains our greatest champion when we feel nowhere close to holy. What happens when we start trusting God with our anger, frustrations, flaws and regrets.
