Study Groups

Peace Study Groups: All of us need our knowledge sharpened, blind spots in our thinking corrected, and resistance to changes in our behaviour challenged.

Join us!

Parenting with Grace
Parenting with Grace is a welcoming community of parents who come together once a month after church to share a meal and meaningful conversation. As Christian parents, we strive to lead with grace in our relationships—with our children, partners, families, and ourselves. Our discussions focus on the joys and challenges of parenting, offering a supportive space for everyone to share their experiences. Whether you're a parent, guardian, or anyone raising children, you're welcome to join us.

Join us for our next gathering: Sunday, Nov 2nd at 12:15pm

Our next Parenting with Grace gathering is Sunday, November 2nd from 12:15-1:15pm - childcare provided! As always, we'll share a meal and engage in meaningful conversation about the joys and challenges of parenting. With the holiday season approaching, we'll be discussing how to navigate time with extended family - from differences in faith perspectives and parenting styles, to conversations about food, screen time, body image, etc. This is a space to share your experiences, concerns, and strategies for maintaining your family's values while honoring relationships with grandparents and other loved ones. Whether the holidays bring joy, stress, or a mix of both, come share and learn together!

Parenting with Grace is a welcoming community for all parents, guardians, and those raising children. Please RSVP using the sign-up link to help us prepare the right amount of food and childcare.
If you have any questions or would like more information, please contact Pastor Tony Katko.

Monday Night Pastor's Bible Study
Mondays at 6:30pm | Sanctuary/Narthex

Please join Scott Henderson in October as we take a closer look at Genesis 1-11. All the great stories are here: Creation, Adam and Eve, Cain and Abel, Noah and the flood, the tower of Babel, and much more. You'll be amazed at how much great stuff is contained in these passages! Please join us every Monday in October at 6:30pm!

Woman at the Well Bible Study
Every Monday Morning | 9:30am - 11:30am (Fireside Lounge)

We come to the well with water jars, to have Jesus fill us with living water. Join us at 9:30am on Monday mornings as we bring our faith questions and thoughts to discuss and to dig into the Bible.
Join us in the following discussions:
Oct 6:  The Woman with the Alabaster Jar with a short discussion on the difference between Pharisees, Saducees and Scribes.
Oct 13: The Canaanite Woman
Oct 20:  Noah's Wife
Oct 27:  The Adulterous Woman

This morning study is lead by Pastor Bonnie Gerber who was ordained August 3, 1997. She served two congregations; Israel’s Lutheran Church in Paris, Ohio for four years, and All Saints Lutheran Church in Worthington, Ohio, for 22 years, the last 9 years as their Lead Pastor. Prior to her ordination, she was a high school math teacher in Versailles, Ohio. In retirement, she has enjoyed traveling and doing ministry where needed.

Women Connect
Every Monday Evening | 6:30-8:30pm (Fireside Lounge)

Come join Beth Johnson, Kim Dressel and Dorina Kramer for a 6 week series: The ROCK, The ROAD, and The RABBI
In this study, we will follow Kathie Lee Gifford and Rabbi Jason Sobel as they visit sites in Israel where Jesus walked, taught, healed, ministered, died for our sins, and rose again. Jesus (the Rock) came into this world and walked the lands of Israel (the Road) to show us the way to God. And when we are introduced to the mysteries of God’s Word (the Rabbi) and understand it in the context in which it was written, we are transformed in our hearts and minds. Join us for fellowship, open discussion and the opportunity to get to connect with the women of Peace.

Friendship Faith-n-Fun
Second and forth
WEDNESDAYS of each month | 6:00-7:00 PM

On the second and forth Wednesday of each month (fall-spring) join us 6:00-7:00pm, in the Fellowship Hall, as we join our adult friends with cognitive or developmental disabilities for Bible learning, music, art, prayer and friendship. Leaders organize the program with volunteers needed to assist the participants. Come be a part of this amazing service small group.

Friendship Ministry is Peace's outreach program with disabled adults. If you are looking for an experience with people who love life, enjoy the moment and help you to see the world in a beautiful and different way then Friendship Ministry is for you. Through various monthly activities to a week-long residential camp in the summer, Friendship Ministries changes the lives of those it serves, as well as the lives of those who serve.
Contact Minda Bickley to join this group.

Women On A Journey
Every Tuesday | 6:30pm in the Peace Library

Women on a Journey (WOJ) Bible Study Group would like to invite the Women of Peace to join us on Tuesday, October 21, 2025, when we will begin a new Bible study entitled "Joy! A Bible Study on Philippians for Women."

The Book of Philippians, written by the Apostle Paul, is a rich letter filled with encouragement and theological insight. Its main themes include joy in Christ, unity and humility, perseverance in faith, Christ-centered living, gratitude and generosity, and contentment and peace. Paul encourages believers to rejoice despite hardships, live humbly and in unity, remain steadfast in faith, and find true purpose in Christ. In Joy — A Bible Study on Philippians for Women, wise and helpful questions guide you deep into the text using the three basic steps of all sound Bible study: Observe, Interpret, Apply.

Women on a Journey Bible Study meets Tuesday evenings from 6:30 p.m. - 8 p.m. in Peace's Library or for those not able to attend in person, they are able to join us via Zoom.
Should you wish to participate, please email Debbie Moore:  dmoore1cps@gmail.com.
