Peace Ministries
Operations & Staff
Pat Rocca is the operations and staff director and has the privilege to be the point of contact regarding our facility, procedures, financial operations and support of our staff. Peace has a great team of staff and lay leaders overseeing the many ministries and departments of this congregation. Any would be pleased to give you more information on how you may get involved. We believe that serving and becoming involved in community activities helps to connect you to the whole life of the church. So, give something a try! If it’s not the right fit, we’re happy to help navigate you toward other ministries to get involved. Check out a list of opportunities and ministries that serve through our congregation. There’s something here for everyone.

Weddings & Baptisms
Whether you are planning a small wedding with immediate family and a few close friends or large formal wedding, we consider it important that you give serious attention to its sacred, spiritual aspects. If you are interested in planning a wedding at Peace, please contact Sara as far in advance as possible to set a date. As the wedding coordinator, Sara will walk alongside each couple from early planning to their big day.
At Peace, we require a one-hour baptismal workshop for parents who desire baptism for their children, or adults who wish to be baptized. These baptismal workshops occur on the second Sunday of each month at 9:45am in the Library. Contact Sara for more information. Sara Bennett | Office Manager & Wedding Coordinator [email protected] |
Family Ministry
Here at Peace we focus on whole family ministry. We find ways to support parents, grandparents, caretakers and families of all kinds through the many stages of their life-long journey. We know it’s important to feel God’s love and our congregational support from a new birth to baptism to confirmation to graduation and beyond. We hope that you join us!

Music & Arts
Music in worship should be participatory. With that in mind anyone and everyone is welcome to join a choir, sing or play a solo, or participate in the arts aspect of a service in any capacity. Both for the traditional and contemporary worships. I am here to help with this through open communication, a spirit of love, and most importantly a centering of faith. Please be in touch with me if you’d like to see about joining any of our music and the arts opportunities.
A quote I enjoy from Hildegard von Bingen, “Music is peace of mind. Let the sound of music build a bridge between you and heaven.” Quinton Jones | Worship & Arts Leader [email protected] |
Pastoral Care
Peace's Care Team is made up of individuals who volunteer their time to walk alongside members of our faith community and their families during times of illness (short or long term), crisis, grief, and other life transitions, or members who are homebound or hospitalized. They provide care and support through active listening, comfort, prayer, scripture, providing Holy Communion, and by sharing God’s love. Team members are caring, compassionate people who have been equipped to provide care and support to those who are hospitalized, in long term care facilities, rehab, or who are homebound.

Outreach Ministry
The Outreach ministry offers a wide range of opportunities to serve. Everyone needs a little help some times and Peace is committed to offering that help in the best possible ways.
We serve locally, beyond our immediate neighborhood, and internationally. Outreach also includes striving for social justice. Our Peace for Justice ministry formed with the purpose to educate our faith community on the complex social justice issues in today’s world, to be active participants with local organizations that are addressing these issues and to build a culture at Peace in which we can openly and respectfully discuss these difficult and complex topics. All are always welcome to participate. Minda Bickley | Outreach Ministry Director [email protected] |
Welcome Force The Welcome Force is a group of volunteers from Peace who want to make sure that all aspects of our services and this community is a welcoming and open place for all. The Welcome Force is currently looking for more volunteers to be Door Greeters or Coffee Crew (coffee bar assistants).
If you have never volunteered before, we walk you through everything you need to know with easy training. Just sign up for Sundays when you are available, no long term commitment needed. Join us ANY Sunday! |
